Kelterei Possman is one of Germany’s oldest traditional Cider producers. Established in 1881, it is family owned and managed by 5^th generation member, Peter Possmann.

With apples harvested exclusively from our 800+ farmers in the Hessen region of Germany, Possman has become a deeply respected member of the local community. Each farmer has anywhere from 3 to 15 naturally occurring apple trees on their land, and are independently owned and operated.

After pressing and fermenting the apples, the cider is matured and stored in massive de-commissioned German submarine tanks which creates a deeply unique and rich flavor for each Possmann cider and reflects the true soul and essence of Hesse.
