About Grisette

Grisette is a heritage beer unique to the Hainault province of western Belgium - ranging from Tournai to Charleroi. At the end of the 19th century, many local area brewers produced a high-fermentation, hoppy pale ale, aged in wooden barrels that would be known as "Grisette".  By the 1940s the style was no longer being produced.

At St-Feuillien, Grisette dates back to 1919.   It was brewed again using traditional methods in the 1980s to great popularity and fanfare.  Blanche was introduced in 1999, received BIO organic certification in 2014 and took home the Gold medal at the World Beer Awards shortly thereafter.

Grisette Blanche Bio
Wheat / Weiss / Wit
5.5% ABV
Grisette Blanche Bio belongs to the rich family of Belgian white beers: light character beer, gentle flavor and aroma. It's refreshing in the summer, but is approachable and delicious all year long given its full-bodied, savory complexity. Grisette Blanch Bio is a wheaty beer offering a creamy and compact head with an opaque, hazy appearance.

Made in the traditional way, Grisette Blanche Bio is a certified organic* high fermentation Belgian beer, refermented in the bottle.
