Project Info
Project Description
Bourgogne des Flandres has been intrinsically linked to the city of Bruges for generations, and is brewed in the center of the city (a few steps behind the belfry) ! While the brewery dates back to 1765 the recipe of Bourgogne des Flandres is from 1911 more than 110 years ago.
BOURGOGNE DES FLANDRES
Bourgogne des Flandres is the real taste of Bruges. This is its mixed fermentation which makes this Ale so surprising. Indeed, its blend of top fermented brown Ale Bruinen Os with a spontaneous fermented lambic of Timmermans Brewery results into a red/brown colored ale with sweet and soft notes of fruit and hints of roasted caramel.
The Ale has a fresh-sour mouthfeel.
